Panagiota D. Papachrysou is a Ph.D. candidate in Geoinformatics at the Department of Geography, University of the Aegean. Her research focuses on the Quality of Life Index across different spatial scales, utilizing advanced remote sensing methods, spatial analysis, and machine learning. She holds a Diploma in Urban and Regional Planning and Development Engineering from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (2016) and two Master’s degrees: one in Resource and Project Management (AUTH, 2019) and another in Geography and Applied Geoinformatics (University of the Aegean, 2020). Panagiota is a certified real estate valuer with extensive experience in property valuations. Since 2020, she has been conducting photogrammetric surveys and working with advanced technologies, including drones, photogrammetry, and geoinformatics software. She is a certified drone operator and proficient in software such as AutoCAD, ArcGIS, Pix4DMapper, and Agisoft Metashape. During her MSc studies, her research contributed to the development of methodologies for assessing urban quality of life using remote sensing and multi-criteria analysis. Following the completion of her MSc thesis, she expanded her research into the integration of photogrammetry with Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) technologies for cultural heritage promotion. Her work focused on the archaeological site of the Sanctuary of Messon, in Lesvos Island, Greece
